CAST Team to Present Two Papers at SGSMA, Exhibit at UTC Telecom & Technology Conference in Early June
CAST will be on the road the first week of June, presenting two accepted papers at the IEEE International Conference on Smart Grid Synchronized Measurements and Analytics (SGSMA)—the foremost forum uniting industry, government, and academic leaders to advance synchronized measurements and analytics in power systems. One paper introduces OpenSAMPL, an open-source Python library for timing and synchronization measurements, while the other examines the impact of timing errors on synchrophasors.
In addition, in collaboration with DOE and SPaRC, CAST will exhibit at the UTC Telecom & Technology Conference, where attendees can visit the booth to see a dashboard demonstrating an open-source toolkit that uses PostgreSQL with the TimescaleDB extension and Grafana to monitor timing and synchronization across critical systems such as power grids, telecom networks, and research laboratories.
