CAST publishes new technical bulletin on satellite-based synchronization
CAST has published a new technical bulletin on two-way satellite time and frequency transfer (TWSTFT) or “twist”, which highlights the lessons learned from a recent standup of a TWSTFT link between ORNL and Idaho National Laboratory (INL). The tech bulletin highlights the process followed, issues encountered and mitigated, and recommendations for others looking to use this approach for wide-area synchronization of primary reference clocks.
